Exotic birds are the beauty of nature, they are parallel walkers. I used the word 'parallel' here because; besides living they provide beauty to the nature. Everyone has or at least had a desire to keep them along with them. They are monomorphic, both the male and female are identical.
Many people do have a hobby of having pigeons and dove and even maintain them providing with all facilities because it is widely believed that, among all exotic pet birds the most sincere and faithful are the pigeons and doves. Once they start living with human beings they begin to understand what they are seeing, they mostly tries to identify with the language and action of human beings, and it is implicit that birds are punctual by their character.

The other exotic, famous and favorite pet birds are parrots, and the most common household pets among them are, King Parrot, Red Wing Parrot, Budgerigar, Cocktail and of course the Ground Parrot. They are energetic and try to learn everything. These are the birds that listen keenly and they can hear with high frequency, and try to imitate and repeat what ever is being said to them frequently. They look at in to every object and noise with great delight anyone who comes across them simply loves them.
Lorikeets are colorful and lively birds. There are six different types of lorikeets are there Rainbow Lorikeets, Blue mountain Lorikeets, Blue Lorikeet, Green Collar Lorikeet, Swain son's Loris and the Brestly scaled lorikeets .
They can be found in Australian forests and woodlands and they visits cities either single or in a flock. Lorikeets are often pair up for life and always seen in pairs. The slim and lean looking lorikeets look more beautiful, and these lorikeets are a combination of green red orange and yellow colors and their beak is dark orange.
They lay two eggs at a time and they hatched in 27 days they grow very fast and even become independent in 16 days, both male and female feed their chicks. A Rainbow Lorikeets life span is 25 to 30 years.
These birds feed largely on nectar and pollen and they can do this because they have a sharp beak and they break open the pollen. Lorikeets also feed on fruit, grains, berries, and leaf-buds, and sometimes they eat the food of human beings if offered. Lorikeets have small hairs on their tongues where the pollen sticks, if they are fed seed these small hairs are tattered down, thus this stops the bird from eating pollen. Apple, pear, grapes berries and melon are their favorite food. These birds are hollow nesters, living in trunks of dead or living trees.
