We purchased this toy for our pet Dutch rabbit. She only weighs 4.5lbs, so this is too big for her to pick up and/or toss around the way larger bunnies might. That said, she loves to push it around her play area to hear it jingle.
This product is very durable; it survived a move from Iowa to Oregon with no problems at all, and has held up very well in the few places that our bunny has chewed on it. However, this is definitely too large of a ball to be used for in-hutch entertainment. It is much better suited to a rabbit that spends most of his/her time out and about in the home.--Elizabeth Khounlavouth
